Nimonic 75 Ni-Cr Tube | Ultra-High Temperature Creep Resistant Tube

Nimonic 75 nickel-based superalloy tube | 950℃ creep resistant seamless tube supplier | corrosion-resistant and oxidation-resistant tube solutions

Description

Under extreme operating conditions characterized by elevated temperatures, corrosive media, and sustained mechanical stress, conventional metallic tubing frequently faces significant challenges including deformation, cracking, and oxidative failure. Nimonic 75 Nickel-Based Superalloy Tubing, engineered as an advanced material to transcend engineering limitations, incorporates a unique nickel-chromium solid-solution strengthening composition (Ni ≥72%, Cr 19-23%). This alloy maintains exceptional creep resistance and oxidation stability even at 950°C, establishing itself as the preferred solution for mission-critical components such as aerospace engine combustion chambers, industrial gas turbine hot-section ducting, and nuclear energy system core piping.

As a specialized supplier of nickel-based alloy tubing, we possess extensive expertise in the superalloy sector, delivering seamless tubing that complies with stringent aerospace and petrochemical standards. Whether your application involves polar research equipment operating at sub-zero temperatures or cracking furnace components subjected to transient high-temperature exposure up to 1200°C, Nimonic 75 tubing triples the service life of conventional stainless steel grades, enabling substantial reductions in maintenance expenditures and downtime risks.

What is Nimonic 75 nickel alloy?
Nimonic 75 is a creep-resistant 80/20 nickel-chromium alloy with regulated titanium and carbon additives that excels at high temperatures and resists oxidation. The alloy becomes stronger when elements with different atomic sizes are added to the base metal. This distorts the base metal structure, lowers the stacking fault energy of the alloy, and slows down the movement of the matrix elements.

Why Choose Nimonic 75 Alloy Tubes?
1. Extreme high-temperature performance
950℃ continuous creep resistance: Creep rupture strength ≥120 MPa under 950℃/1000 hours; 2.3 times higher than the temperature limit of 304 stainless steel, avoiding seal failure caused by high-temperature deformation

Instantaneous oxidation resistance at 1200℃: Nickel alloy 75 is a nickel-chromium alloy with a high content of chromium alloy elements, which can form a dense Cr₂O₃ oxide layer on the surface and extend the life of thermal cycle components

2. Multiple environmental corrosion resistance
Acid and alkali corrosion resistance: resistant to H₂S/CO₂ acidic medium (pH≥2.5)

3. Extreme temperature adaptability
Good low-temperature toughness
Good thermal stability

What are the differences between Nimonic 75 and Inconel 600?
Nimonic 75 has superior creep resistance in the 750-950℃ range (creep rate is 40% lower at the same temperature).

Inconel 600s Fe concentration makes it more resistant to chloride ion stress corrosion, making it appropriate for offshore platform heat exchangers.

As a Chinese supplier with extensive experience in high-temperature alloys, our Nimonic 75 nickel-based alloy tubes allow for non-standard size customisation. If you require stronger strength or corrosion-resistant materials, you can select both Inconel 600 high-temperature alloy tubes and Hastelloy C276 corrosion-resistant alloy tubes simultaneously.
