Description

Hastelloy alloy is a Ni-Cr-Mo alloy created by combining chromium and molybdenum components with pure nickel.  Hastelloy alloys are classified into several series based on the composition of the principal alloying elements, including A, B, C, and X.

 
Hastelloy C-2000 is a new low-carbon Ni-Cr-Mo-Cu alloy created by adding a specific number of copper components to Ni-Cr-Mo.  Compared to previous Hastelloy alloys, alloy C-2000 offers strong resistance to reducing acids and outstanding resistance to oxidizing acids.

Alloy C-2000 is very strong and can tolerate high stress situations without permanent deformation. C-2000 alloy has high ductility, which ensures that it does not fracture under stress and can adapt to a variety of difficult deformation conditions.
