Precision Tube Hastelloy C-2000| UNS N06200
VIEW MORE+Nickel 201 tube is a high-purity nickel alloy tube with excellent corrosion resistance and reduction resistance. It is particularly suitable for some extreme environments, such as high temperature, strong acid and alkaline conditions.
Nickel 201 is a deformed nickel alloy belonging to the commercial pure nickel series, containing more than 99.6% nickel, supplemented by carbon, manganese, silicon and other elements.
Nickel 201 is a low-carbon variant of Nickel 200. Compared with Nickel 200, Nickel 201 has better corrosion resistance at temperatures above 300℃ (570℉) and is more suitable for use in high temperature environments.
Why is Nickel 201 more suitable for high temperature environments than 200?
The main difference between the two is the chemical composition. Nickel 200 contains 0.15% carbon, while Nickel 201 has a very low carbon content of only 0.02%.
